What this notice covers

This notice applies when you browse the Emys landing page, join the waitlist or use a referral link. The landing page does not provide an Emys account and does not ask you to upload medical records.

What we collect

Joining the waitlist collects your email address. You can also optionally share your region, general goal and starting point. Referral signups may include a random referral code and waitlist position.

Our hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request data such as your IP address, browser details and submission time to deliver and secure the site. We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral tracking.

We measure how the page is read using analytics software we run on our own server. It records the page viewed, the site or campaign that referred you, your country, browser and device type, how far down the page you scrolled and whether you joined the waitlist. It sets no cookies, sends nothing to a third-party analytics company, and stores no IP address: your address and browser details are converted into a one-way daily code that lets us count a visit without identifying you or recognising you tomorrow.

How we use it

We use landing-page data to:

• manage the waitlist and referral positions;
• send confirmation and launch-related updates;
• understand broad interest in the planned program; and
• prevent spam, diagnose errors and secure the website.

We do not sell this information, use it for third-party advertising or treat a waitlist signup as consent to process future health data.

Storage and sharing

Information is available only to the Emys team and service providers needed to host the site, store waitlist entries, send email and deliver internal signup notifications. Providers process data under their own infrastructure and may operate in more than one country.

We keep waitlist information while the waitlist remains active or until it is no longer needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete a waitlist entry, or stop receiving updates, by replying to any Emys confirmation or waitlist email. We may verify that the request comes from the address used to join.

We may update this notice when the landing page or waitlist changes. Any future Emys product will have its own privacy notice before it collects product or health data.
